doingwell vs Liquid I.V.: How Do They Compare?
Liquid I.V. helped a lot of people learn what an electrolyte stick is. We built Mango 500 for the next step — the same
daily-hydration use case, with zero sugar, organic monk fruit, and a maltodextrin-free flavor system.
The side-by-side
- Sodium per stick: doingwell Mango 500 — 500 mg (Himalayan Pink Salt) · Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier — ~500 mg
- Potassium: doingwell 220 mg · Liquid I.V. ~370 mg
- Magnesium: doingwell 150 mg (DiMagnesium Malate) · Liquid I.V. not a primary electrolyte in the formula
- Sugar: doingwell 0 g · Liquid I.V. ~11 g added sugar (Hydration Multiplier original)
- Sweetener: doingwell organic monk fruit · Liquid I.V. cane sugar + stevia (varies by SKU)
- Maltodextrin: doingwell none · Liquid I.V. contains dextrose / sugar in the carrier system
- Flavor system: doingwell maltodextrin-free organic natural flavors · Liquid I.V. natural flavors
- Designed for: doingwell daily hydration, recovery days, travel, lighter activity · Liquid I.V. everyday hydration
The main differences
Same use case, cleaner build. Mango 500 is designed for the same daily-hydration moments as Liquid I.V. — minus the
added sugar and stevia.
No sugar, no maltodextrin. We built the flavor system without sugar or maltodextrin. Sweetness comes from a small amount
of organic monk fruit.
Built to travel. Stick packs sized for a backpack, gym bag, or carry-on — made for hotel water, airplane water, and
post-coffee resets.
FAQ
Is 500 mg sodium enough?
For daily hydration, light-to-moderate activity, travel, and recovery days — yes, it’s designed for that. If you’re
sweating hard or training in heat, look at our 1,000 mg Performance sticks.
Why no added sugar?
A small amount of glucose can speed sodium absorption — but the original Hydration Multiplier ships with about 11 grams
of added sugar per stick. We built Mango 500 without it because most of our customers don’t want a daily dose of added
sugar in a hydration drink.
Is Mango Certified with Informed Sport?
Yes. Mango 500 is Certified with Informed Sport, joining Coconut Lime and Raspberry. Every batch is independently tested
for 285+ substances banned in sport using ISO 17025 accredited methods.
